Course Description:
In today's fast-paced organizational landscape, effective communication stands as the cornerstone of successful leadership. This course is tailored for managers and future managers seeking to refine their oral and written communication abilities, enabling them to foster stronger relationships, drive productivity, and navigate challenges. By honing these skills, managers can cultivate a cohesive and motivated team, enhance decision-making processes, and ultimately propel their organization toward greater success.
The course will focus on several topics from the world of the manager and the critical communication skills that are in use in the organizational setting. Students will delve into strategies for developing their communication skills. The main topics to be discussed are an introduction to the managerial role and current managerial challenges, communication with employees, effective written communication, barriers to effective communication, and the principles of supportive communication. For each subject, the students will be exposed to theories, research, and real-world case studies and dilemmas.
