Q1. 哪些課程可以申請學分抵免？
依照「國立清華大學跨院國際碩/博士班學位學程學生抵免學分辦法」，申請抵免之課程須符合下列條件：
1. 原學校修習之碩、博士班課程。
2. 該課程學分未列入原畢業學位之畢業學分數。
3. 該課程成績須達70分以上。 申請時，須請原就讀學校／單位出具證明，確認欲申請抵免之課程學分未列入原畢業學位之畢業學分數。
Q1. What courses are eligible for credit transfer?
According to the Regulations for Credit Transfer of the International Intercollegiate Master’s/Ph.D. Program, courses submitted for credit transfer must meet the following requirements:
1. The courses must be graduate-level (Master’s or Ph.D.) courses taken at the previous institution.
2. The credits must not have been counted toward the graduation credit requirements of the previous degree.
3. The grade for each course must be 70 or above.
Applicants must provide an official document issued by their previous institution/unit confirming that the credits to be transferred were not counted toward the graduation credit requirements of their previous degree.

Q2. 最多可以抵免多少學分？
非本學程、非本校課程
最多可申請抵免6學分。
本學程課程
限課號為IPhD／IMS之課程，且須為入學前5年內所修習之課程。
最多可抵免：
4門課，或
12學分
抵免總上限
不論課程來源，抵免學分總數以12學分為上限。
Q2. What is the maximum number of credits that can be transferred?
Courses taken outside the Program and outside NTHU:
A maximum of 6 credits may be transferred.
Courses offered by the Program:
Only courses with the course codes IPhD or IMS are eligible, and the courses must have been completed within five years prior to admission.
A maximum of:
4 courses, or
12 credits
may be transferred.
Overall maximum:
The total number of transferred credits may not exceed 12 credits.

Q3. 申請學分抵免時需要準備哪些資料？
申請時請備妥以下電子檔：
1. 原修課成績證明
2. 課程大綱（Syllabus）或其他可供審查課程內容之資料
3. 原就讀單位出具之證明，確認欲申請抵免之課程學分未列入原畢業學位之畢業學分數
除了備妥上述資料外，請同時至校務資訊系統提出學分抵免申請，並依系統流程辦理後續審核。
是否核准抵免，仍須依課程內容及相關規定進行審查。
Q3. What documents are required for a credit transfer application?
Please prepare the following documents in electronic format :
1. Official transcript showing the original course grades
2. Course syllabus or other materials that can be used to review the course content
3. An official document issued by the previous institution/unit confirming that the credits to be transferred were not counted toward the graduation credit requirements of the previous degree
In addition to preparing the above documents, students must submit the credit transfer application through the NTHU Academic Information System and complete the subsequent review procedures through the system.
Final approval is subject to review of the course content and applicable regulations.

Q4. 如果本學期辦理休學，還可以申請學分抵免嗎？
可以。
辦理休學與申請學分抵免並不互相衝突。即使本學期辦理休學，仍可依規定提出學分抵免申請。
Q4. Can I apply for credit transfer if I am taking a leave of absence this semester?
Yes.
Taking a leave of absence does not prevent a student from applying for credit transfer. Students may still submit a credit transfer application in accordance with the relevant regulations.

Q5. 外籍生的華語課程要求為何？可以用華語能力檢定抵免嗎？
依各組修業規定，外籍生須修習 8學分之初級、中級或高級華語課程 。
如已取得符合規定之 華語能力檢定證明 ，可依規定申請抵免華語課程，最高可抵免 8學分 。
人文組學生如有華語課程或華語能力抵免相關問題，請洽謝先生。
Q5. What are the Chinese language course requirements for international students? Can a Chinese proficiency test be used for exemption/credit transfer?
According to the degree requirements of each section, international students are required to complete 8 credits of elementary, intermediate, or advanced Chinese language courses .
Students who have obtained an eligible Chinese language proficiency certificate may apply for exemption/credit transfer in accordance with the relevant regulations, for up to 8 credits .
Students in the Humanities Section who have questions regarding Chinese language requirements or exemptions should contact Mr. Hsieh.

Q6. 華語海外實習可以抵免嗎？
碩士班學生如完成 一年華語海外實習 ，可依規定辦理抵免。
如對華語實習或相關抵免方式有疑問，請洽 謝先生 。
Q6. Can an overseas Chinese language internship be used for credit transfer?
Master’s students who complete a one-year overseas Chinese language internship may apply for credit transfer in accordance with the relevant regulations.
For questions regarding Chinese language internships or related credit transfer procedures, please contact Mr. Hsieh .

Q7. 外籍生是否仍需提供英文能力檢定？
依各組修業規定：
非英語母語之外籍生 仍須依規定提供英文能力檢定證明。
英語母語人士 之英文能力認定，須提送學程會議審核。
人文組如有相關問題，請洽謝先生。
Q7. Are international students still required to provide proof of English proficiency?
According to the degree requirements of each section:
International students whose native language is not English are still required to provide proof of English proficiency in accordance with the applicable regulations.
For native English speakers , recognition of English proficiency is subject to review and approval by the Program Committee.
Students in the Humanities Section who have related questions should contact Mr. Hsieh.

Q8. 申請前最需要注意的是什麼？
請特別確認：
欲申請抵免之學分不得已經列入原畢業學位的畢業學分數。
即使課程名稱、內容及成績符合規定，如該學分已計入原學位畢業所需學分，即不符合抵免條件。
因此，申請人須向原就讀學校／單位取得正式證明。
Q8. What is the most important point to check before applying?
Please make sure that:
The credits you wish to transfer were not already counted toward the graduation credit requirements of your previous degree.
Even if the course title, content, and grade otherwise meet the requirements, credits that were already counted toward the completion of a previous degree are not eligible for transfer.
Applicants must therefore obtain official confirmation from their previous institution/unit.
